Heading North on Central Expressway (75) exit Mid Park, stay on service
road and take a right Gate 3 at the Texas Instruments entrance.
TRAVELING SOUTH ON 75: Take 75 south until you reach the Midpark exit Midpark and turn left at the traffic light Cross the bridge and turn left again onto the north bound frontage road. Gate 3 will on your right a few feet up the frontage road. Enter at Gate 3; show ID to Officer at Guard House. The Texins Activity Center is located on your left directly after the Guard House.
TRAVELING NORTH ON 75: Exit Midpark Road. Pass through Midpark Road light. Gate 3 will on your right a few feet up the frontage road. Enter at Gate 3; show ID to Officer at Guard House. The Texins Activity Center is located on your left directly after the Guard House.
TRAVELING WEST ON 635: Exit Greenville/TI Blvd. Pass through Greenville Ave light, stay to the right. Turn right at TI Blvd Sign, this circles back. Turn left at light. Continue on TI Blvd until you
come to Gate 6. Enter at Gate 6; show ID to Officer at Guard House. Turn right at the intersection just after the Guard. Continue straight until you see the Texins Activity Center located at the far north end of the site.

Coaches
Jim Montgomery
Since 1981, Jim has developed the Masters swim concept and is currently part owner of the Dallas Aquatic Masters Swim Club, one of the top adult fitness exercise programs in the country. From 1988-1990 Jim was responsible for the design and startup of the Baylor Aquatic Center located at the Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the first facility ever built with the primary focus on adult fitness swimming and aquatic medical programming and research.
From 1990 through 1999 Jim served as director of the Baylor Aquatic Center. Since 1998, Jim has served as aquatics director and head varsity swim coach at Greenhill School in Dallas, Texas. Jim is licensed by the Miracle Swimming Institute as a MSI instructor and the author of Mastering Swimming, due out in October 2008.
Jim has also excelled in sports having been a consistent champion throughout his swimming career; he has held 10 world records and won 9 World Championships, 14 Masters World Championships, 14 national titles and 7 N.C.A.A. titles. As a member of the 1976 U.S.A. Olympic Team, Jim won three gold medals and one bronze medal, and was the first man ever to break 50 seconds in the 100-meter freestyle.
Lia Oberstar-Brown
Lia was a 12-time High School All-American from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a four-year All-American from SMU, graduating in 1999. She was a four-time NCAA champion. She was a WAC record-holder in the 200 fly, 100 back and 200 back and a member of the 1997 and 1999 USA Pan Pacific teams. She was a silver and bronze medalist at the 1997 World Championships. She is a two-time former American Record Holder and a three-time Masters world record holder.
John Thorburn
John was born in South Africa and was a member of the South African National Team. He came to the USA to swim at SMU where he was a four-year All-American swimmer. He was assistant coach at SMU and then taught adult swimming at SMU and Richland College. He is married, has three children and works in the insurance adjusting business. He has been teaching in the Dallas Aquatic Masters Swim Basics program since 2004.
John is licensed by the Miracle Swimming Institute as a MSI instructor.
Cheryl Gigliotti
Cheryl has been a life-long fitness swimmer and lover of water, having grown up in southern California. She is certified in child and adult swim instruction through the Red Cross and YMCA and has been teaching since 2007. She organizes community swim lessons, and has worked with Chuck Burr's Waterworks 2 and annual swim camps in Fort Worth.
Cheryl has been trained by the Miracle Swimming Institute as an MSI instructor.
